Equity actors from The Shakespeare Project of Chicago present a theatrical reading of Truman Capote's classic and beloved boyhood Christmas memoir. Directed by Peter Garino.

A Christmas Memory, first published in December 1956, in Ladies’ Home Journal magazine, is one of Truman Capote’s most beloved works, celebrated for its warmth, vulnerability, and the quiet joy found in small acts of love and generosity.  Join us as Shakespeare Project actors Diane Dorsey and Tom Morin bring this moving story to life – a classic of American literature and especially cherished during the holiday season. Produced with the permission of the Truman Capote Literary Trust.
