Commons Meeting Room A&B

Niles Township property owners, this presentation will explain the process and reasons for appealing your property's assessed value, how taxes are calculated, how and when to file for exemptions.

Presenter Scott Bagnall is a licensed Illinois attorney, a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer, and a licensed Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker. The Niles Township Assessor does not set property values, tax rates, or levies. They are your taxpayer advocates and will assist with applying for exemptions and appeals and to help you understand your property taxes.
