Craft Swap Donation Drop Off

Calling all crafters! Gather all the extra craft supplies that are taking over your house and bring them to the Niles-Maine District Library.

Drop Off Day: Thursday, November 13, 9:30am - 8pm

Donations are accepted today, during normal library hours in the Commons meeting room, on the main floor. Please bring items in original packaging or clear, labeled zippered bags. To help our patrons with allergies, please note if any fabric or yarn donations are from a pet or smoking home. 

Those who make a donation will receive a ticket for Early Bird entrance to the Craft Swap event on November 15th. You do not have to make a donation to attend. All items are FREE! 

CRAFT SWAP SCHEDULE:

Craft Supply Swap Day – Early Bird: 10-10:30 a.m. | Crafters with a ticket* | 1 bag* per person

Craft Supply Swap for All: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. | Take all you can! | No limits | All welcome

*Paper bags will be provided for each attendee. Those who donate craft items on Thursday, November 13th will receive a ticket for Early Bird entrance to the event. 

SUGGESTED CRAFT SUPPLIES FOR THE SWAP:    

Fabric, sewing/embroidery thread, and notions
Paper crafting/scrapbooking/rubber stamps
Craft kit, craft instruction books
Children’s craft kits and supplies
Jewelry making
Yarn, hooks, needles
And more! 

DONATION GUIDELINES:

We kindly ask that all items be clean and gently used. Please do not donate:

• Half-finished projects
• Scraps
• Partial bottles of glue or glue-type liquids
• Spray paint
• Paint thinners or additives
