Participants will explore their motivation around embracing or avoiding singing activities with young children in their classrooms. We will discuss children's natural affinity for music and singing, along with developmental benefits of these activities. We will also explore guidelines for choosing and introducing appropriate songs and outline first steps to planning curriculum to support children's natural love of music and singing.
If you are a Gateways Registry Member, this workshop is eligible for professional development credit hours that you can count towards your Gateways Professional Development Record (PDR).
