Welcome to a special virtual storytime with stories, songs, and rhymes for 2 and 3 year olds! REGISTER
Who: This storytime is intended for toddlers ages 2 and 3 years old. You are also welcomed to join if your child is almost 2. Everyone in this class will be muted and you will have the option to turn on your camera or not. When logging on, please change your Zoom display name to be your child's first name.
What: This storytime is based in early childhood development research and is inspired by the Montessori method of education. We will sing songs to build connections in your toddler's developing brain and read books that build on phonological awareness. Stories are chosen based on their representation and inclusion, in addition to a focus on social/emotional skills, building independence, and perseverance.
When: This weekly storytime meets every Tuesday* morning, live on Zoom at 10 a.m. The storytime usually lasts around 30 minutes. A Zoom link is typically sent out between 30-60 minutes before the storytime starts. Be sure to check your Spam folder if you did not receive the link.
*Please note that the 2nd Tuesdays of September & October will be in-person at NICO Park. Click here to register for these in-person dates.
