Virtual Writing Center: Pen-Pal with a Librarian

For children in grades K-8

Receive a personalized letter in the mail from your local librarian! Sign-up by registering for this event BEFORE May 31.

Sign up to be Pen-Pals with a librarian! Provide your child’s information, including your library card number when you register. We will send the letter to the address associated with the library card number you provide us with.

Due to space constraints, this program is for Niles-Maine District cardholders only.

Registration closes May 31.

Your child will receive a letter in the mail within approximately 2 weeks of registering! We also invite your child to write back to the library, too. Some of the mail and pictures sent to the library from children may be featured on the library’s social media! 

If your child chooses to write back, they can send their letter and/or drawings to:
