Have you ever wondered why a child is acting out? Do these behaviors challenge you? Join us to learn about and gain new tools for engaging with children in a more intentional way.
Have you ever wondered why a child is acting out, cannot seem to express their emotions appropriately, or does not listen? Does it feel like the behaviors are coming out of nowhere and for no particular reason? Do these behaviors in young children challenge you?
These children are in fact trying to communicate; they just may be missing the skills to do so. Demonstrating the ability to observe and recognize the signs and symptoms of potential problems is crucial to understanding an individual child and the role that the child care provider can have in this process. This includes being able to distinguish and analyze ways to recognize children’s strengths, think about factors that impact challenging behavior in children, and how you can arm yourself with tools and ideas to think about challenging behavior differently.
Come and learn more about challenging behaviors and how you can engage and interact with children in a more intentional way!
