We’ll take you through the basics of seeds and soil mixes, tackle common pitfalls and give you troubleshooting tips.This will be held at the Niles Historical Center. 8970 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Are you looking to grow more of your own plants this year – from “scratch”? Maybe you already share the love for gardening, but you’re curious about starting your own seeds instead of buying transplants come Springtime? Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to kickstart your garden this season. We’ll take you through the basics of seeds and soil mixes, tackle common pitfalls and give you troubleshooting tips so your seedlings can be sure to flourish. Get ready to cultivate a vibrant and bountiful garden right from the very beginning! You do not have to be a member of the Niles Historical Center to attend. Participants will build their own milk jug terrarium for seed starting!
