Join members of the Chicago Korean Dance Company as they introduce different types of Korean dance.
Chicago Korean Dance Company(CKDC) was established on April 1, 2009 as a non-profit organization in order to present excellence in Korean culture.
The CKDC organization is an establishment that enables professional dancers to come together in order to present excellence in Korean culture and to make an
effort to prevent the loss of Korean prominence in the U.S., where multicultural, racial and nationalities exist. The CKDC was founded under the objective of
introducing and spreading the culture and beauty of Korea to mainstream America. It is CKDC'S mission to develop Korean cultural heritage through
various traditional dance performances with the fruition of connecting and uniting with other cultures in the age of globalism.
The CKDC has performed in many venues and events. CKDC has been contributing in educating the second generation and participating in many
performances at public schools, libraries, and museums of the greater Chicago area and the Midwest. We were invited to perform from the New York, Embassy
of the Republic of Korea in Nicaragua & in Brazil to perform. We are very proud and thankful to represent Korean culture and Chicago to other countries.
