Lurie Children's Hospital has partnered with the Library to create an education session for parents and caregivers on how to talk to your young people about HIV/AIDS and sexual health.
Young people are always observing, listening, learning from you and from their world. There are so many little ways over the years that you connect and share messages about identities, bodies, and relationships. We would like to show you real-life examples of adults and youth having quick meaningful conversations about navigating sexual health. Lurie Children's Hospital and Niles-Maine District Library have partnered together to create education sessions for parents and caregivers on how to talk to your young people (ages 10-25) about HIV/AIDS, PrEP, and sexual health. Each session will be an hour long and with trained experts in sexual health.
A zoom link to the program will be emailed shortly before the program begins.
